Meet Your Master Instructor

Shoso Shimbo is an Ikebana teacher with over 30 years of experience. He is acknowledged by Belle magazine as a leading floral designer and has garnered significant accolades at prestigious events, including the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show.

Shoso Shimbo holds three advanced degrees: an MA in Japanese Studies, a Master of Fine Art, and a PhD in Education. Beyond his academic credentials, Shoso is a highly practiced Ikebana Artist, Sculptor, and a qualified Japanese Garden Designer (certified by the Japan Horticultural Society). His diverse background also includes roles as a Shinto Priest and Translator.
